Install VLC Media Player on CentOS 7
Step 1. First, you need to enable the EPEL repository on your system.
wget http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/e/epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm rpm -ivh epel-release-7-5.noarch.rpm
Step 2. Installing VLC on CentOS 7.
Now that the repository is enabled, you can install the VLC packages using the following command:
yum update yum install vlc
Step 3. Starting VLC Player.
You can launch the VLC player either from the command line by typing
vlc or by clicking on the VLC Media Player icon (
Applications → Sound & Video → VLC media player).
